Lee students will perform at the Honor Band Collage Concert on Friday. The performance will feature Lee’s Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. Mark Bailey; the Jazz Ensemble, directed by Alan Wyatt; and the Wind Ensemble, directed by Dr. David Holsinger.
Honor Band participants include 85 students selected from 29 high schools in five states. These students were chosen based on information submitted by the students and recommendations from their individual band directors.
“The high school students are a pleasure to have on campus,” said Winona Holsinger, director of instrumental projects. “They play well, rehearse hard, and are great students. We always enjoy hosting this event.”
Honor Band Collage Concert will be Friday, Nov. 22, at 7:30 p.m., and the Honor Band Student Concert will be Saturday, Nov. 23, at 1 p.m. Both concerts are free, non-ticketed, and open to the public.
